Role Mission
You will support the garment Japanese team in managing product sourcing, development, and order execution from initial inquiry to final delivery.
This role ensures smooth coordination between customers, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Role Summary
You will be the key liaison supporting the Japanese garment team in handling product sourcing, vendor negotiations, and order follow-up.
You will work closely with suppliers across China and Asia Pacific, conduct factory inspections, and ensure all customer requirements are met professionally and efficiently.
Job Description
Provide support to Merchandising Manager
Handle product sourcing, development, and evaluation for Japanese garment customers
Conduct price negotiation and costing with vendors to achieve competitive pricing
Follow up on customer orders from confirmation to shipment
Liaise with suppliers to monitor the production process and ensure timely delivery
Perform quality inspection at the factory to verify product meets specifications and standards
Coordinate with Japanese team, customers, and vendors on product requirements and updates
Handle any ad hoc projects assigned by the Merchandising Manager
Support documentation and reporting related to merchandising activities
Ideal Candidate
High Diploma or above; preferably in Fashion, Textile, Business, or related field
Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese (N2 or above), English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build strong relationships
Sound knowledge of PC operations and MS Office applications
Previous merchandising experience in garment/textile industry is an advantage
Willingness to travel once per month to China and Asia Pacific regions
