We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the InnoLearn Hub Limited:

Manager (Business Development) (ALTO) (Ref: 260020B)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will serve as the Business Development Manager of the newly established InnoLearn Hub Limited, playing a pivotal role in the commercialization and market expansion of the online English learning platforms developed by the University.  The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Developing and executing competitive marketing, promotional strategies and business development plans tailored to the characteristics of the platforms;

  • Leading outreach and engagement with School Principals, English Panel Teachers, conducting workshops and demonstrations of the platforms to the primary and secondary schools;

  • Representing the company in promoting the online learning platforms by conducting, and/or participating in exhibitions, conferences, and education-related expos;

  • Collaborating with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and promotion of the platforms;

  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities with primary and secondary schools, private schools, learning centres and educational institutions in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area to expand the reach of the deliverables and ensure long-term sustainability;

  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on marketing plans and performance to senior management, and providing insights on business operations to support better marketing and promotional strategies; and

  • Providing administrative and operational support, and performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized degree, preferably a higher degree, in Marketing, Communication, English, Educational Technology, or a related discipline;

  • Substantial years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with proven track record in planning and executing marketing strategies for online learning platforms or education-related products in educational settings are preferred;

  • Experience in working with primary and/or secondary schools in Hong Kong, including engaging with School Principals, English teachers and curriculum coordinators;

  • Prior experience in English teaching at primary and/or secondary levels in Hong Kong is highly preferred;

  • Experience in organising and participating in education-related expos, exhibitions, conferences or large-scale promotional events, and in delivering school-based training, demonstrations, seminars and workshops for teachers and students will be an advantage;

  • Exposure to the private primary and/or secondary schools and learning centres in Hong Kong and/or the education market in the Greater Bay Area will be a strong advantage;

  • Deep understanding of Hong Kong primary and secondary school curricula and assessment practices (e.g. the English Language Curriculum (Key stages 1 to 3) and the PIRLS framework);

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;

  • An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a trade test.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a 2-year full-time contract on project basis.  An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidate.  Generous annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
