Design Officer II – Integrated Facility Engineering (Ref: 260000RX)

We are currently recruiting:

Responsibilities

• Provide design and technical solutions for site-specific conditions, and develop design drawings and specification for the effective implementation of the works in the related civil, structural, buildings works
• Review system design design and propose long term technical solutions to enhance system safety, reliability and efficiency
• Prepare and maintain engineering  drawings, schematics, graphics and standard drawing libraries, and conduct basic engineering design in accordance with  corporate standards and procedures
• Compile technical reports for  in-house technical studies and investigations with established requirements and guidelines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve design related issues
• Support the review and consolidation of technical drawings and specifications of the tender submissions

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Building Study or a related discipline
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably gained in a railway environment
• Strong draughtsmanship skill and proficiency in MS Office, CAD and graphics applications (e.g. AutoCad and MicroStation) as well as digital graphics equipment
