Key Responsibilities
Perform daily operations, monitoring, and regular maintenance for enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless networks, switches, and routers.
Assist in the configuration, deployment, and policy tuning of Next-Generation Firewalls and Web Proxies.
Coordinate with senior team members to handle network upgrades, hardware installations, and firewall ruleset creation/modifications.
Set up and maintain secure VPN connections (IPsec / SSL VPN) for site-to-site connectivity and user remote access.
Troubleshoot network and connection connectivity issues using general diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark).
Maintain and update technical documentation, network diagrams, and asset management inventories.
Provide technical and operational on-site support at our Kowloon Bay office.
Requirements
Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network operations or infrastructure support. (Candidates with less experience but strong basic knowledge will be considered for Assistant Engineer).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, and basic routing concepts (Static routing, OSPF basics).
Basic hands-on experience or familiarity with firewall configuration (e.g., Fortinet / FortiGate or any other mainstream brands) and Web Proxies.
Hardware Support: Experience in handling standard network switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent).
Holder of CCNA or Fortinet NSE 4 is an advantage, but NOT mandatory if you have equivalent hands-on experience.
Fluent in Cantonese is required for daily internal team collaboration; fair command of written and spoken English.
