ONLINE MARKETING ASSISTANT - US seasonal product trading office (Tokwawan)

Role Mission

• This role supports the merchandising team in both online marketing and daily merchandising operations. 

• The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in product development, sourcing, communication, and online business support, with strong opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

Role Summary

• You will work closely with merchandisers and the online merchandising team to support the US office, suppliers, and internal teams. 

• The role includes both backend merchandising support and frontend online marketing exposure, offering a well-rounded learning experience in a fast-moving business environment.

Job Description

• Support the merchandising team in handling enquiries from the US office.

• Assist the online merchandising team in supporting the company’s growing online business.

• Learn both the backend operations and frontend marketing activities, including social media campaigns.

• Communicate daily with the US office, China office, and suppliers.

• Support product design and development activities.

• Maintain product information and specifications in the database.

• Assist with showroom setup and maintenance according to US office instructions.

• Provide clerical support for merchandising tasks such as quotation sheets, tracking lists, artwork, purchase orders, and related documents.

• Handle samples and support sample tracking.

• Take part in job rotation programs to learn from different junior-level positions.

• Prepare weekly reports and participate in conference calls and meetings.

Ideal Candidate

• 1 year of experience in a related field.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.

• Well organized, responsible, and able to follow up closely on tasks.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Chinese word processing.

• Strong Excel skills will be an advantage.

• A good working attitude and a strong desire to learn.

• Self-motivated, able to manage time well, and willing to take on new projects.

• Able to work overtime occasionally during peak seasons.

Terms & Benefits

• 5-day work week : Mon to Fri 9:00anm-5:30pm 

• 11 days annual leave, with 1 additional day added each year up to a maximum of 20 days
