SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Manager and immediate supervisor in overseeing all technical aspects of leasing, tenant matters, and daily operations, including:

• Handling technical complaints and inquiries from the Leasing Department and tenants.

• Providing professional advice on feasibility studies, fit-out works, and reinstatement projects.

• Managing procurement processes for A&A works, landlord provisions, tenant fit-outs, and reinstatement projects.

• Supervise outsourced contractors while delivering top-tier customer service to meet the expectations of landlords, tenants, and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards to mitigate potential legal risks during technical and A&A works.

• Conduct budget estimation and project planning while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.

• Collaborate with internal departments, external consultants, clients, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution of projects and compliance standards.
  

Requirements

• Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in managing commercial complexes, shopping malls, or A&A projects, including 3 years in supervisory roles for mall technical teams.

• Solid knowledge of E&M systems, with experience in handling major breakdowns in electrical and MVAC systems preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate technical staff and contractors.

• Excellent problem-solving and project management capabilities with great attention to detail.

• Independent, proactive, and flexible, with a hands-on work approach.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
