PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - intimate garment / fashion lingerie apparel manufacturer (Tsuen Wan/5 days)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead the team to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for intimate apparel, loungewear, and activewear to enhance product quality and development efficiency

• Oversee technical development, pattern risk assessment, and process improvements to ensure compliance with international standards and cost control

• Collaborate closely with sample room and production teams; participate in client meetings and lead fitting and approval processes

• Act as the key technical liaison between design, development, and manufacturing to resolve bottlenecks before bulk production

• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to optimize bulk production feasibility, improve quality consistency, and minimize material wastage

• Integrate AI tools with traditional apparel workmanship to advance digitalization in product development

• Provide professional guidance and training to technical development and sample room staff to strengthen overall team capabilities and technical expertise

IDEAL CANDIDATES :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel manufacturing with exposure to international clients

• At least 3 years in a technical management or core technical role

• Experience in intimate apparel is essential

• Proficient in production processes, pattern structure, grading, and international quality inspection standards for both knit and woven garments

• Strong cross-departmental communication and team leadership skills

• Ability to effectively identify and resolve technical challenges prior to production

• Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) with basic English proficiency

• Familiarity with AI tool operations is a strong advantage
