Applications are invited for a joint appointment as Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy and Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Both are academic departments under the Faculty of Education of CUHK (http://www.fed.cuhk.edu.hk/), an international center for professional training and research in Education. Applicants should have (i) excellent academic qualifications including a doctoral degree in a discipline related to educational administration, policy studies, digital education, curriculum studies, science education, or intelligent technology; (ii) a strong research background in the above areas that will contribute or add to the existing strengths of the Departments; (iii) a track record of programmatic research and publications; and (iv) a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. To address complex and new challenges ahead, we strongly emphasize collaborative work; therefore, proven experience in cross-disciplinary or interdisciplinary teaching and research is highly valued for this role. Applicants with in-depth knowledge of Chinese educational systems or the Greater Bay Area are also preferred. For Professor/ Associate Professor rank, applicants should have achieved a high standing in the relevant research fields and demonstrated academic and international professional leadership.

The appointee will (a) play a key role in research initiatives in the specified fields; (b) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses; (c) supervise postgraduate students; (d) obtain external competitive grants; and (e) assist in administrative matters.
