Duties

The appointee is expected to produce impactful research, contribute meaningfully to the academic community, and deliver high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including PhD supervision. Responsibilities include managing courses individually or as part of a team. Candidates appointed at or above the Associate Professor rank will also undertake administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a PhD in Accounting or a related field.

For Professor/Associate Professor positions, we require a proven track record of publication in top-tier journals, an active research programme, and demonstrated teaching excellence. Successful applicants will also show capacity for research leadership, curriculum development, and postgraduate supervision. Experience teaching at the postgraduate or executive level is advantageous.

For Assistant Professor positions, candidates should demonstrate strong research potential targeting top-tier journals, backed by solid teaching evaluations. All candidates are expected to contribute to classroom excellence and engage in service to the department, university, and academic community.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.  Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
