QC MANAGER - US MNC Electronic Component Distributor (Tsuen Wan/5 days/no trips)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage all ISO 9001-related activities.

• Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System.

• Ensure quality procedures comply with ISO 9001 requirements.

• Coordinate internal, customer, supplier and certification audits.

• Prepare audit documents and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate digital QC records for products, customers, vendors and manufacturers.

• Manage vendor ranking reports and supplier performance evaluations.

• Monitor quality objectives and recommend improvements to senior management.

• Conduct receiving inspections for incoming electronic components.

• Investigate and resolve quality issues with suppliers and customers.

• Review broker-part datasheets for technical requirements and authenticity.

• Supervise incoming quality control inspection and testing.

• Oversee microscope inspection and other visual inspection activities.

• Maintain third-party testing reports, including White Horse reports, in SharePoint and NetSuite.

• Manage final QC inspection for outgoing shipments.

• Monitor product traceability and maintain complete quality records.

• Support investigations involving damaged, suspected counterfeit or non-compliant components.

• Review product datasheets and cross-reference components for Sales and Procurement teams.

• Help identify suitable alternative components for customer requirements.

• Develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Lead, train and mentor the QC team of 2 members.

• Establish team KPIs and monitor performance against quality objectives.

• Work with senior management to align quality plans with business objectives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in the electronics industry.

• Proven experience in ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems is essential.

• Experience in electronic component distribution, trading or sourcing is preferred.

• Good knowledge of incoming inspection, final inspection and product testing.

• Experience in reviewing electronic component datasheets.

• Knowledge of component authenticity, traceability and supplier evaluation.

• Experience in coordinating internal, customer, supplier or certification audits.

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• A good team player who can work effectively with different departments.
