Head of Insurance & Broker Segment

Key Responsibilities

• Build, mentor and lead a high performing BD team, set KPIs, conduct performance reviews and ensure professional development. 

• Develop BD strategy for insurance carriers and brokers and aligned with company objectives. 

• To provide optimal service to the company’s current / new clients in order to achieve the department’s growth objective. 

• To manage business development activities for the company driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business 

• To develop and implement of a revenue growth plan for the designated key insurance & broker segment 

• To identify and carry out the best possible opportunities for business growth 

• Uncovering new opportunities through competitors’ information and data analysis 

• To develop strategies for new services that might best meet both the needs of the clients and the company 

• Responsible for heading up the expansion of new accounts as well as continued expansion among existing clients 

• Building relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spending 

• Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements 

• To be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets 

• Preparation and presentation of quarterly / annual strategic meetings to show specific performance to promote client satisfaction, client retention and upsell opportunities. 
  

Requirements

• University graduate with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Healthcare or insurance background is highly preferred 

• Solid establishment in group medical industry – service or insurance 

• Strong insurer connection with good reputation 

• Proven track record in achieving sales target. 

• Result and customer-service oriented. 

• Team player who is detail-minted and able to perform multi-tasking and finish tasks in tight schedule. 

• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English. 

• Independent, well-organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
