Role Mission

• Develop new business opportunities and grow sales in Mainland China and other Asian markets.

• Build relationships with the buying offices and sourcing offices of international brands located in China.

• Promote fashion trims, buttons, packaging products, and custom-designed accessories.

• Understand customer needs, product requirements, and market trends.

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.

• Work with internal and overseas teams to achieve business and sales targets.

• Support the company’s long-term growth and profitability.

Role Summary

• Develop sales and marketing plans for Mainland China and other Asian markets.

• Target the buying offices and sourcing offices of international apparel, fashion, and home textile brands located in China.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.

• Develop new customer accounts and maintain existing accounts.

• Promote fashion trims, buttons, packaging products, and custom-designed accessories.

• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

• Provide business recommendations to senior management.

• Work independently to achieve sales and business development targets.

Job Description

• Meet key decision-makers at the buying offices and sourcing offices of international brands located in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and other major fashion and retail hubs in Mainland China.

• Develop business relationships with international apparel, fashion, and home textile brands that have buying or sourcing operations in China.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.

• Identify new business opportunities among international brands’ China-based buying and sourcing teams.

• Promote fashion trims, buttons, packaging products, and custom-designed accessories for apparel and home textile applications.

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.

• Understand customer needs, buying behaviour, product requirements, and market trends.

• Follow up on customer enquiries, product development, quotations, orders, and business opportunities.

• Work with sales management teams and team leaders in North America and Europe.

• Coordinate sales activities with the company’s offices in SE Asia.

• Work closely with production and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are properly handled.

• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities in Mainland China and international markets.

• Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, and business recommendations for senior management.

• Provide practical ideas to support business growth and improve profitability.

• Represent the company professionally when meeting customers and business partners.

• Travel within Mainland China and other Asian markets when required.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in fashion trims, buttons, garment accessories, packaging, custom-designed accessories, apparel, home textiles, or related industries.

• Good understanding of international markets and the fashion or home textile supply chain.

• Existing contacts with the China-based buying offices and sourcing offices of international brands are highly preferred.

• Able to identify new opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.

• Willing to travel within Mainland China and other Asian markets when required.
