SALES MANAGER KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - trading & sourcing sundries / home decoration / seasonal / tableware (Kwun Tong)

• Our core focus is the home products sector, including tableware, home decoration, seasonal decoration, cookware, and home textiles.

• The US is our principal market, with additional business in Europe.

ROLE MISSION :

• This role is responsible for managing key client accounts and driving business growth in the home products category. 

• The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to clients, ensuring smooth execution, strong commercial performance, and long-term account development.

ROLE SUMMARY :

• This is an individual contributor role within a Business team of approximately 20 members. 

• The role will report to the Business Director and requires someone who can work independently, manage assigned US or European clients, and coordinate effectively with internal teams across multiple office locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage and develop business with existing and potential clients.

• Take global ownership of assigned home product accounts and support their performance and growth.

• Coordinate sourcing activities across multiple office locations and functions.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through reliable execution and professional service.

• Handle client issues, challenges, and operational concerns in a timely and effective manner.

• Support the Business team in client identification, presentations, and meetings.

• Assist in developing and training internal personnel and country merchandising teams.

• Carry out additional duties as required to support departmental and company objectives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• University degree in business or a related discipline.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the home products industry with hands-on buying or purchasing background.

• US market experience is required.

• Strong knowledge of hard goods products, including product development, costing, and client-focused product proposal preparation.

• Good command of English is essential; Chinese, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Strategic thinking with a solid understanding of the home business.

• Proactive, well organized, responsible, adaptable, deadline-conscious, and detail-oriented.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Willing to travel occasionally.
