SENIOR ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING MANAGER – ODM electronic product manufacturer (Dongguan)

ROLE MISSION :

• To lead the electronics engineering function and drive the development of electronic products from concept to production.

• You will act as the technical expert for customers, translate product requirements into practical solutions, and guide the engineering team in delivering reliable and competitive products.

• This role reports directly to the Engineering Director.

ROLE MISSION : 

• Lead electronic product design and development for ODM projects.

• Oversee the full product development cycle from concept to mass production.

• Manage component selection, circuit design, PCB layout, testing, debugging, and product improvement.

• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Support product development for home appliances and industrial power control applications.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor the electronics hardware engineering team.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Act as the technical expert for customers and translate their product requirements into sound electronic designs.

• Lead and mentor the electronics hardware engineering team from concept to production.

• Drive the design and development of electronic products to ensure competitiveness and compliance with global standards.

• Oversee the full development cycle, including component selection, schematics, PCB layout, debugging, testing, and validation.

• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, QA, and Manufacturing teams to support successful product development and lifecycle management.

• Participate in weekly conference calls with customers to discuss project progress, technical issues, and development plans.

• Provide technical advice and problem-solving support during product development and production stages.

• Review circuit designs, product specifications, prototypes, test results, and technical documentation.

• Ensure products meet technical requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and project schedules.

• Drive product improvement, cost reduction, and engineering efficiency.

• Support suppliers and contract manufacturers on technical matters when needed.

• Report project progress, technical issues, and development plans to the Engineering Director.

IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in electronic product design and development.

• Strong experience in product design, circuit design, product testing, and new product introduction.

• Experience in home appliances or industrial power control is highly preferred.

• Project management experience is a strong advantage.

• Experience in managing engineering projects and leading a team.

• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

• Good command of English, Chinese, and Mandarin.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
