Roles & responsibilities:
Explore, formulate and implement new initiatives and projects under the supervision of the Head of Medical Division to promote the Group’s medical and health services development;
liaise, coordinate, administer and monitor activities between the Board of Directors and the hospitals including board fund allocation, free medical services, fund-raising events, welfare and training activities, research projects, etc to maintain the traditions of Tung Wah as well as to ensure effective and compliant implementation of activities and projects;
supervise and monitor operation and development of medical services units to ensure effective and efficient administrative and executive support including budgetary control, human resources management, procurement, premises management, marketing, etc are properly provided in compliance to the Group’s policies and the laws and regulations in Hong Kong;
liaise and communicate with different strategic partners including government agencies, hospitals, universities, etc for effective delivery of quality and compliant medical services as well as establishment of cooperative working relationships;
coordinate and liaise with internal partners in planning and administering publicity and fund-raising activities to achieve corporate goals of the Group;
provide committee secretarial support for the Division Heads and the committees including the Medical and Health Committee, Medical staff Training Committee, and etc., and liaise with the Board’s representatives closely to the Hospital Governing Committees to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance; and
supervise and coach executives of the Division and Centre Managers of services units to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
a recognized degree, preferably in medical and healthcare related disciplines with knowledge in Chinese and western medicine;
at least 6 years’ supervisory experience in administration and project management, proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua; and
additional experience in healthcare management, human resources management or marketing will be an advantage.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
