  • The Hong Kong office serves as a key sourcing and production hub, working closely with international headquarters, internal product development teams, and established vendor factories in China. The office supports the execution of seasonal collections and helps ensure that product quality, fit, styling, workmanship, and production standards are maintained throughout the development and manufacturing process.

Role Mission

  • To ensure the smooth and timely execution of woven outerwear production from SMS handover through to bulk production, while maintaining the brand’s expectations for quality, fit, styling, workmanship, and delivery.

Role Summary

  • You will take ownership of production follow-up for the woven outerwear category. You will serve as a key link between the R&D team, merchandising team, internal stakeholders, and vendor factories, ensuring that product requirements are clearly communicated and production issues are resolved effectively.

  • Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager, you will work closely with the internal merchandising team and China-based vendors to ensure the smooth and timely execution of seasonal collections.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced apparel professional to join a dynamic international fashion environment and contribute to the production of contemporary casualwear and streetwear collections. 

Job Description

  • Manage production follow-up after SMS handover from the R&D department.

  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain accurate bills of materials and tech packs throughout the production phase.

  • Communicate product information, production requirements, and potential issues to relevant internal parties and local and overseas vendors.

  • Track sample development, revisions, comments, and approvals throughout the production process.

  • Coordinate proto, fit, and pre-production sample follow-up to ensure timely approvals.

  • Assist with garment fitting and ensure that fit, styling direction, and workmanship remain consistent throughout production.

  • Monitor production schedules and follow up closely with factories to identify and resolve delays or production issues.

  • Prepare and update weekly WIP reports for management review.

  • Maintain effective communication with China-based vendor factories and follow up on production progress.

  • Support the Merchandising Manager and work collaboratively with the Merchandiser.

  • Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5–6 years of relevant merchandising or production experience in the apparel industry.

  • Experience in woven outerwear, casualwear, streetwear, or related fashion categories is highly preferred.

  • Experience working with a European fashion brand is a plus.

  • Good knowledge of fabric construction, fabric performance, garment construction, and production processes.

  • Strong understanding of sample development, fitting, tech packs, BOMs, and production follow-up.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
