SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER - Precision Metal & Plastic Manufacturer / Metal Stamping & Plastic Molding (Dongguan/5 days work)

ROLE MISSION

• Lead and support customer projects from pilot run to mass production

• Ensure smooth communication between clients and the factory

• Help improve production efficiency and product quality

ROLE SUMMARY

• Act as the main contact between customers and the China factory

• Manage new projects, prepare quotations, and coordinate technical discussions

• Maintain key production documents and ensure projects meet customer requirements on time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up customer projects from pilot run through to mass production

• Prepare quotations for new projects and support cost and timeline planning

• Exchange ideas and technical solutions with customers on metal moulding and related processes

• Improve production line efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain production-related documents, including drawings, engineering changes (EC), and standard operating procedures (SOP)

• Coordinate with internal teams such as tooling, production, quality, and logistics

• Senior level: take greater ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and lead key customer meetings

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of relevant experience in product design, project coordination, or engineering support involving plastic parts and/or sheet metal components

• Hands-on experience with new product introduction (NPI), pilot runs, or mass production projects is highly valued

• Strong skills in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) and AutoCAD.

• Background in electronics, server hardware, data center equipment, or related industries is preferred

• Good interpersonal and communication skills; confident in presentations and project management

• Good communications in written and spoken English and Mandarin
