SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER - Precision Metal & Plastic Manufacturer / Metal Stamping & Plastic Molding (Dongguan/5 days work)

ROLE MISSION

• Ensure end-to-end product quality from new product introduction (NPI) through to mass production

• Identify and resolve quality issues proactively to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction

• Drive continuous improvement in quality systems and processes across the manufacturing value chain

ROLE SUMMARY

• Take ownership of quality assurance for metal stamping, plastic molding, and related manufacturing processes

• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to prevent, detect, and resolve quality issues

• Play a key role in risk management, benchmarking, and strengthening our quality culture

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the entire quality process for new product introduction and mass production, including metal stamping and plastic molding

• Review production reports and conduct non-scheduled inspections to identify and address quality issues

• Detect problems during product development and manufacturing, and lead corrective and preventive actions

• Conduct benchmarking and market reviews to drive and maintain high quality standards

• Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal departments, suppliers, and customers, when production issues arise

• Handle customer complaints professionally, including establishing improvements to internal standards and providing timely complaint reports

• Perform risk management to anticipate and prevent potential quality issues at NPI and mass production stages

• Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

• Report to Senior Quality Manager 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree holder or above in Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• 5–7 years of experience in quality control and mechanical engineering, preferably in precision manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of quality tools, ISO systems, and problem-solving methodologies; Six Sigma certification is a plus

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
