SERVICE ENGINEER (25K-28K X 13) - European building service / ventilation brand (Lai Chi Kok / 5 days)

Role Mission

• To ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of commercial kitchen ventilation systems by delivering responsive, high-quality technical service and support to premium hospitality clients across Hong Kong and Macau.

Role Summary

• This is a hands-on, field-based technical role responsible for overseeing testing & commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of advanced ventilation systems.

• Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, coordinate effectively with clients and contractors , and uphold high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, inspection, and servicing for commercial kitchen ventilation systems.

• Oversee contractor installation activities by providing technical supervision, testing, and commissioning verification to ensure system performance meets specifications.

• Lead technician to carry out maintenance, repair, and field service activities.

• Diagnose system faults and perform timely troubleshooting and emergency repair services.

• Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and service continuity.

• Support project delivery for the Foodservice Business Unit, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and maintain accurate service records.

• Travel to Macau regularly for service support (same-day return or short stay with accommodation arranged in nearby hotels).

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related disciplines).

• Minimum 2 years in field service, installation supervision, or maintenance.

• Experience in HVAC, ventilation systems, or building services is highly preferred.

• Advantage : Holder of Construction Site Safety Card 

• Advantage : Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) license 

• Practical, hands-on problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred.

• Good communications in English and Mandarin.
