We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Open Learning:
Student Services Officer (SOL) (Ref: 26001WQ)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
Assisting in planning and executing comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategies, to maximize the awareness of the School and its programmes;
Monitoring digital campaign performance against KPIs, leveraging advanced analytics and market trends, and delivering campaign effectiveness analysis;
Executing student recruitment activities by supporting school promotion activities, including roadshows, expos, and networking events to strengthen audience connection;
Identifying new platforms, tools, partnerships, and market opportunities to enhance school visibility and student acquisition;
Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure that the school activities, services and programmes pertaining to distance-learning and part-time students’ learning and support are effectively provided; and
Performing any other duties as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work occasionally outside normal office hours, including weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
A recognised degree, preferably with 3 years post-qualification working experience in digital marketing, CRM system management and event management;
Extensive knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, with a strong proficiency in using various digital media platforms (such as Youtube, Meta Ads, Google Ads) and familiar with the social media operation strategies in Hong Kong;
Experience in a marketing agency is an advantage, a good understanding and network connection in the educational landscape will be a plus;
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach in managing multiple priorities effectively and an ability to work independently under tight deadlines;
A good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua; and
Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the use of AI tools.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
