Temporary Manager / Assistant Manager (12-Month Contract) – Corporate Communications, Secretariat and External, CEO’s Office and Central Services

We are now seeking a couple of digital communication professionals for the role of Manager / Assistant Manager to support the SFC’s external communications in the digital space.

The position offers the successful applicant(s) an excellent opportunity to join the SFC’s Corporate Communications team which is responsible for formulating and implementing communication strategies to promote the SFC’s policies and actions; devising core messages to articulate the SFC’s position on regulatory issues to enable the public to better understand the importance of the SFC’s role in protecting investors and upholding market integrity.      

The successful applicant will be part of the team responsible for digital communications, with primary responsibilities including: 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging online communications that effectively convey SFC’s corporate identity, mission, policies and actions.

• Manage multiple digital platforms, including corporate website and social media channels.

• Develop compelling content for various platforms, covering ideation, storyboarding, copywriting, and customisation of content strategies to engage diverse stakeholders.

• Utilise data-driven insights to enhance content and channel strategies in collaboration with creative agencies.

• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic about brand development through digital storytelling.

• Knowledge about social media landscape; previous journalistic or media experience is a plus but not mandatory.  

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, website content management platforms and data analytics would be advantageous.

• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

• A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail.

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience. 

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.

• Inquisitive, meticulous, adaptable and amenable to working outside normal business hours.
