Responsibilities

• to provide structural technical support to project teams;
• To prepare design/drawings and design calculations, with support from technical officer, for BD submission & approval;
• To coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of design tasks;
• To support project planning, quality control, design reviews, and preparation of technical documents;
• To Ensure compliance with relevant BD standards, statutory requirements, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle; and
• To support for preparation of tender technical submissions including tender design drawings and technical submissions.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent;
• Registered Professional Engineer (CVL / STL) is a MUST;
• at least 5 years experience in preparation of structural submissions under the BO, preferably obtained from a consultancy engineering firm;
• Familiar with BD guidelines / standards / codes, statutory regulation, BD submission and approval procedures;
• Proficiency in design software, e.g. SAP2000, SADS, PLAXIS, ETABS, and SAFE.;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Able to work independently and well organized; and
• Immediately available is an advantage.
