 Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the risk management framework, policies, and procedures in Life Operations.

• Identify, assess, and control operational risks in HK & Macau business processes.

• Oversee and track action plans addressing regulator inspection results.

• Establish and review procedure manuals for AML, FATCA/CRA, Data Retention, etc.

• Collaborate with Life Operations, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit departments to bridge the 1st and 2nd lines of defense:

  • Coordinate regulatory inspections, internal reviews, risk assessments, and follow-up monitoring.

  • Assist Life Operations in implementing process controls as the 1st line of defense.

  • Review procedures and user requirements for regulatory enhancements in Life Operations.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Risk Management and/or related disciplines

• At least 7 years of audit/compliance/risk management related experience in financial service sector, preferably in insurance, and with sound knowledge of life insurance operations

• Detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and self-motivation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective project management and communication skills

• Able to work under pressure with good time management

• Experience with regulatory inspections familiarity with regulatory requirements related to Operations is an advantage
