Responsibilities
Develop and execute the University’s technology transfer (TT) and commercialisation strategies
Manage the University’s Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, identify and protect the University’s inventions and innovations
Promote the University’s inventions and technologies to potential licensees, industry partners and government fund providers in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and beyond
Develop technology marketing initiatives, organise promotional events and marketing activities, prepare marketing and presentation materials
Work on licensing agreements and other commercialisation deals
Organise briefing and training sessions related to technology transfer
Co-ordinate and prepare reports and data as required
Develop and maintain the technology transfer website and database
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
A good Bachelor’s or higher degree
Substantial relevant working experience
Proven experience in TT, business development and event management
Sound knowledge in IP management and licensing
Solid experience in corporate report writing and compiling statistical reports
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Travelling and site visits may be occasionally required
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
