Position Summary: 

The role encompasses the complete operational ownership for 100% of global Logistic Service Provider (LSP) activities. LSP Management activities require to establish / develop relationships with all customer’s nominated global and local carriers and 2PL providers, act as an escalation point, guiding the Global Control Tower teams on new provider onboarding activities and owning the KPI Management and Performance with providers, in accordance with set KPI Matrix. 

LSP Onboarding related responsibilities cover the relationship management with customers origin/destination LSP, Lead the Global Control Tower teams for LSPs onboarding related activities, owning KPI Management and Performance Audits with the LSP’s, in accordance with customers set KPI Matrix and owning the SOP procedures related to LSP and invoicing. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain global standard carrier and 2PL onboarding/training material;
  • Maintain and drive the overall LSP strategy aligned with customer;
  • Review and monitor KPI results and auditing, for and on behalf of customer;
  • Prepare MBR, QBR and annual performance meetings with customer;
  • Maintain existing LSP SOP’s and SLA’s;
  • Support the customer during RFQ phase;
  • Suggest and where appropriate participate in continuous improvement projects related to LSP performance and processes;

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of operational working experience in global forwarding / logistics company;
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain management industry, preferably in a regional or global role;
  • Solid understanding of outsourced manufacturing and supply chain flows
  • Strong ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated competency in process & system design & delivery, needs assessment, process improvement, project management of customer facing IT solutions & business logic
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing & logistics
  • Consumer & Retail Industry experience is preferred
