We’re looking for an experienced and passionate senior PR professional to join us and lead one of our skilled PR teams , specialising in travel, hospitality and lifestyle PR.

 

Job Description:

An exciting position is available for an experienced Account Director to be based in our Hong Kong Office. the role will involve leading an account servicing team and continuing to grow our footprint in Hong Kong and South China.

Our client portfolio comprises travel, tourism, hospitality, property and luxury lifestyle sectors - including global brands and local market leaders, serviced by our energetic and dedicated team of 50 throughout the region.

The right candidate will demonstrate talent for managing account delivery whilst controlling team direction. An in depth understanding of lifestyle and travel PR is essential, in addition to delivering an integrated communications approach including related disciplines of marketing and digital. Suitable candidates will be creative, media savvy and entrepreneurial, as engaging client relations and strategic counsel will form a key part of this role.

Key Skills Required:

  • Creative and driven professional with a minimum 8 years' experience in agency or an in-house role, with direct experience working in public relations and marketing;
  • Energetic – must have initiative and a positive mindset, looking to be part of a growing team in our Hong Kong office;
  • Degree Qualifications in a related discipline such as communications, PR or Marketing would be highly desirable;
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese is essential.

Client Service

  • Ability to take ownership and develop strategic commutations plans to meet with clients expectation in different aspects including strategy, crisis management, reputation management and media relations;
  • Proven network of Hong Kong and ideally South China media contacts in both traditional and new media;
  • Commercially minded, confidence in dealing with clients, and the ability to seek out innovative communication ideas.

Digital Service

  • Develop long and short-term actionable social media client strategies;
  • Understand and recognize opportunities within emerging platforms, online communities, third parties and industry developments.

New Business

  • Identifying opportunities to expand client’s relationship through cross-servicing;
  • Passionate and actively participate in new business development.

Team Management

  • Strong leadership and excellent team player, able to lead and develop a team to accomplish company goals and provide excellent account servicing to clients;
  • Excellent self-presentation, discipline, strong work ethic as well as to inspire team members.
