Account Executive / Manager

We are looking for account executive / manager for Hongkong and Macau area.

 

Job function

(Overall description of responsibility)        

 

 

• Identify and manage suitable retailers in accordance with Stokke distribution standard

• Enhance high level of instore presence

• Grow Stokke sell out through proactive account management, periodic product training, and maintain instore excellence

• Coordinate retail marketing and event initiatives in close cooperation with the marketing team

Education required

  • University graduate preferred
  • Full profiency in English, both spoken and written

Experience required

 

• Experience in account management

• Prior experience with high end products with selective distribution network, and preferably familiar with department stores and shopping malls

• Demonstrate good skills in visual merchandising, and can undertake the hardship in setting up instore displays

• Good in communication, able to conduct one on one training or to a group of people

• Able to work independently and willing to walk an extra mile to grow the company

• Result oriented, disciplined and can pay attention to detail

Special requirements

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills user experience (MS Office)

 

Main job responsibilities

• Prioritization of areas and customers

• Work out distribution and sales development plans for own area

• Find, evaluate and activate relevant trade partners according to Stokke policies

• Contract negotiations and implementation of Stokke’s requirements to retailers

• Secure distribution requirements are fulfilled with all customers at any time

• Continuously follow up customers to secure stock level of all items and agreed product presentation

• Continuously follow up to secure that Stokke’s distribution requirements are fulfilled

• Continuously improve merchandising in stores, including installation of in-store equipment and point of sales materials

• Use approx.. 4 days per week for route customers visits (1 day admin.)

 

Training & Coaching

• Ensure all retailers’ staff receive training through own coaching and/or other company training support

 

Service & Support

• Work with customer service to ensure the markets get the service they need

• Communicate procedure and routines which help improve support through customer service

• Support the implementation and successful realization of all sales programs and marketing campaigns

• Ensure company complies with the requirements from retail chains

 

Reporting & Analysis

• Use Stokke’s defined sales way of working (Sales Force), according to best practices and guidelines

• Prepare various reports on visits, sales, presentations and other relevant customer data for management and own use/preparation regularly and on request

 

Other functions

• Gather and share news on market and on competitor’s development/activities and other relevant information helping Stokke to better understand the market, competitiors, customers and results
