Responsibilities

  • Maintain fixed assets records, including proper classification to ensure accurate depreciation expense
  • Support monthly, quarterly and yearly closing cycles including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Perform accounts receivable duties
  • Facilitate cash flow expectations by ensuring timely client billings
  • Perform routine bank transactions and reconciliations
  • Collaboration with business to ensure inventory records reflect accurate units/costs, including analysis of costs per project. Includes investigation of inventory discrepancies and reconciliation/observation of annual physical inventory counts
  • Preparation of monthly sales analysis report
  • Analyze and prepare monthly account reconciliations, including appropriate support of balances
  • Support internal audit engagements
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Payroll supervision


Requirements

  • Professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA / ACCA qualified or equivalent is preferred
  • Over 10 years working experience in building or construction firms
  • Able to handle full set of accounts
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and sensitive to deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • ERP software and Access experience
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent in IT knowledge and system implementation
  • Independent, well-organized, self-motivated, analytical and strong sense of responsibility
  • Immediately available is preferred
