Responsibilities:

  • responsible for system administration, maintenance and performance monitoring of Oracle Financials system;
  • provide support to users on the use of Oracle Financials system;
  • liaise with users, IT department and external vendor on various systems development, enhancement and UAT;
  • coordinate with IT department for any problem resolution;
  • responsible for accounts payable, including ensuring that all payments are processed based on sufficient budget, proper authorizations and supported by sufficient documentation;
  • maintain proper financial and accounting records for payment transactions; and
  • assist in developing and revising accounting policies and procedures.

 

Applicants should:

  • possess a recognized degree, preferably in accounting discipline;
  • be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience;
  • be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
  • have experience in Oracle Financials system implementation, administration and providing support to users in using the system;
  • be mature and attentive to details, have a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • have good analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

 

Candidates with work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
