Accounting Officer (Welcome Insurance or Big 4 Background!)

Our client is a well-established title insurance company with 150 years of history. They are now expanding their Hong Kong business and looking for a candidate who is with solid experience in insurance experience to handle accounting duties and prepare IA returns.

Client Details

Our client is working on title insurance business with over 150 years of history. Their headquarter is at United States. They provide due diligence process during the client's ownership and exit strategies with high efficiency existing practice of a property to avoid potential risks such as incorrect record, missing heirs and illegal deeds. They operate for more than 40 countries with 1,500 employees in their business. To support their business expansion in Asia, they are now looking for an experienced accounting candidate in insurance field.

Candidate is responsible of working on accounting operation duties and preparing regulatory reports for the company. The working environment is very friendly with very westernised culture. The working hours is very stable.

Description

• Prepare statutory reports and tax computation independently

• Ensure all statutory returns are filed in accordance to the relevant regulations

• Perform daily accounting operation duties, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations

• Manage month-end and year-end closing

• Liaise with auditors and manage the audit process

Profile

• At least 3 years accounting experience in insurance field

• Strong knowledge working on IA Reports, IFRS and US GAAP accounting standard

• High fluency on communicating in English and Chinese

• Independent and self-motivated candidate with strong problem-solving skills
