Role Summary
The role in the Employee Benefits Actuarial & Analytics team is an entry-level position requiring the student to be willing to learn in order to build up the technical and business knowledge. The team works closely with different teams to ensure that the assumptions in the pricing can be actualized.  
 
Responsibilities
•Provide tailor-made and competitive package to our target customers through pricing.
•Prepare management reporting and provide financial indicators that links to business, and provides sales forecast and in-depth analysis to the local management to help their day-to-day decisions.  
•Assist in conducting experience studies, assumption factors review, earning analysis and a multitude of new and ongoing studies.
•Maintain business projection models and support Business Plan, New Business Embedded Value, In Force Embedded Value reporting
•Handle ad hoc enquiries from other departments.
 

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications
•University major in Actuarial Science or related field with reasonable exam progress towards professional qualifications of an actuarial body.
•Prior work experience in an actuarial role will be an advantage.
 
Knowledge & Skills
•Sound actuarial knowledge and business acumen.
•Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Access; experience with AXIS or other actuarial software preferred but not a must.
•Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and critical thinking. Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across multiple parties.
•Demonstrate initiative, commitment and responsibility; ability to work independently and on a team.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and work under pressure.
•Effective command of English, both spoken and written.
