Job Role:

  • To perform actuarial related internal audit assignments in Asian Markets (80%) including China. Up to 50% of travel in Asia may be required.
  • To support the Head of Internal Audit or his/ her delegate in handling the administrative issues of the internal audit function, includes following up of audit issues and providing status updates, preparing Group and Asia reporting, coordinating audit committee papers and handling of ad hoc projects (20%).
  • Execute the internal audit plan, perform internal audit fieldwork following the planned audit program and approach

  • Performing risk assessment and audit planning process.

  • Delivering quality work in line with Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) and AXA Group standards.

  • Evaluating internal processes and controls, and preparing audit reports with value-added recommendations to management and audit committees

  • Work closely with AXA Group Internal Audit team and local counterparts, including first and second line of defences to solve risk management, internal control and compliance related issues.

  • Providing support to local Internal Audit teams on actuarial related subject areas

Job Requirement:

  • University degree with recognized actuarial designation.
  • Actuarial associate level or nearly qualified.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Actuarial, Risk, or actuarial consulting involved in valuation, pricing, product development, or risk management framework and implementation. GI experience would be a plus.
  • Excellent English presentation and good report writing skills, turning technical subject areas into conceptually understandable content for stakeholders.
  • Good in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese.
  • Independent, analytical and positive mind.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to deal with people at all levels and background.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Actuarial Auditor.
