Administrative Assistant II / Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Director/Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 508374) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5-7 years’ full-time work experience in alumni affairs, institutional advancement, communications or public relations, preferably with experience in higher education institutions.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills with a high level of computer proficiency.  They must be able to work independently and under pressure.

The appointee will support the Faculty’s alumni affairs team to implement alumni engagement strategies, plan and organise alumni activities, liaise and coordinate with local and overseas alumni bodies, and formulate and implement marketing and communication initiatives to strengthen a close relationship with alumni.  Those with less experience may be considered as Executive Officer.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
