SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE

Clinical Division

The appointee is expected to perform the following administrative duties:

  • to perform secretarial duties for the Director of Division;
  • to follow up the logistic arrangements of a wide range of visits and seminars;
  • to coordinate and provide administrative support to outreach clinical services, departmental meetings, working groups and committees;
  • to liaise with internal units and external bodies and answer their enquiries; and
  • to perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary qualifications, preferably with a higher degree;
  • 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Proficiency in common computer applications including MS Office, Chinese word processing, excel and PowerPoint;
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to work independently and under tight schedule;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Sound knowledge of Chinese medicine is highly desirable; and
  • Immediately available will be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
