Administrative Officer / Assistant Administrative Officer

Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute (PSEI) was established with the generous support of Mr. Pan Sutong and Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association. PSEI’s main objective is to strengthen the study of issues related to the economic and financial development of China and Hong Kong.

 

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing a variety of clerical and administrative support to Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute; (b) providing support in organizing conference, seminars and various activities; (c) maintaining and updating the website; (d) liaising with other departments/units and external parties; and (e) other duties as assigned by the supervisors. 

 

General Requirements

Applicants should be able to work independently and possess (i) at least a Bachelor degree in Social Science, Language or related fields; (ii) at least one year’s working experience, preferably in the education sector; (iii) good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) proficiency in MS office applications, Chinese word processing and different social media; (v) strong sense of responsibility; and (vi) effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

 

Appointment

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
