The Graduate School (GS) of Hong Kong Baptist University is looking for a seasoned professional to join the energetic and dynamic team to assist the University in its exciting and ambitious developments in the areas of postgraduate education and research grants and contracts management.

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Academic Registrar, the incumbent will (a) assume the overall responsibilities for coordinating studies related to postgraduate education, international education and Transnational Education (TNE), and research scenarios, etc; (b) assist in liaising with various partners and provide views on new partnership formation related to GS responsibilities, including working with different stakeholders to identify and trouble-shoot issues, and review contracts and agreements; (c) gate-keep and review information and style for major GS messages in any formats, and assist in building up the capacity of colleagues in communication; (d) assist in various new initiatives, including preparing discussion papers and minutes, and following up on any resolutions as required; and (e) undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, preferably with higher degree or other professional qualifications, and have a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience. They should be a team-player, self-motivated, have good knowledge of and vast experience in the higher education sector, excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and experience of serving high level committees. Legal knowledge or experience in reviewing contracts is required, so are good interpersonal skills and capacity for change and stakeholder engagement. Occasional travel will be required.
