THE JOB
Reporting to the Assistant Information Technology Manager (System Development), the Analyst Programmer will be responsible for the following duties:
- To be responsible for application system design, analysis and programming;
- To be responsible for application system maintenance and documentation;
- To be responsible for end user technical and software support;
- To liaise and coordinate with software vendors and user department;
- To devise project planning and schedule for application system development and enhancements;
- To evaluate and testing the package software;
- To provide system installation, user trainings and system demonstration;
- To be responsible for SQL servers administration and management;
- To perform daily IT application administration and maintaining databases integrity;
- To provide application systems support and facilitate user ad-hoc requests; and
- To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience;
- Solid experience in Microsoft based development environment with VB.NET, ASP, HTML, Javascript, IIS and SQL Server;
- Familiar with latest Cloud based Azure services and MS APPs for communication, data analytic and reporting use;
- Good knowledge in application development involving forms, reports and workflows handling;
- Experience in common business application for Accounting, DMS, Data Collection and Reporting like Sun Accounting, Qlik BI and Sharepoint application development would be an advantage; and
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
