Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries. 

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Analyst, Regulatory Business Support.

In this role, you will

  • Driving operational readiness for new regulations with impact to Global Banking and Markets business in support of Regulatory Compliance in remediation, governance, targeting operating model, process efficiency and optimal offshore utilization
  • Implement controls in onboarding process and throughout the client onboarding life cycle to ensure regulatory compliance, monitor the effectiveness of the controls and drive continuous improvements
  • Communicate key regulatory updates to internal key stakeholder in Global Banking and Markets Client Operations in Asia Pacific
  • Provide guidance to clients and or client facing teams for implementing new regulations or remediation
  • Cooperate with business stakeholders and other team members to overcome the regulatory challenges as a team
  • Mitigate the risk of prosecution and or reputational damage due to unauthorized or unlawful sharing of customer data by promoting and following client policies 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • ​Degree holder in relevant disciplines
  • Operational experience in client onboarding, middle office, client servicing, compliance and or operations in financial institution for Investment Banking
  • Demonstrated knowledge on regulatory requirements
  • Strong operational and control experience gained in Investment Banking environment preferred
  • Proven track record of working closely with key business users both client facing and back office
  • Excellent communicator with strong oral and written skills
