Salary : $69,045 per month (Gratuity : 10%) (Contract Period : 1 year)

Duties : (a) To support the Assessment Panel in working out the assessment criteria and excellence indicators and to undertake research as may be required by the Assessment Panel of the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence [CEATE]; (b) To liaise with schools, nominators and/ or nominees on matters relating to the assessment of nominations; (c) To support the Assessment Panel in conducting initial assessment of all nominations received such as examining nomination documents, conducting interviews, taking notes, compiling reports, etc; (d) To support the Assessment Panel in conducting detailed assessment of the short-listed nominations, such as conducting school visits, class observations, taking notes, compiling reports, etc; (e) To provide professional inputs for the publication of the CEATE Compendium, the preparation of the sharing session of the Award Presentation Ceremony, the production of publicity videos, the information to be uploaded to the awarded teaching practices repository in CEATE website, etc; and (f) To compile a comprehensive report on the assessment work and to assist in the professional and administrative duties.

Entry Requirements : (a) A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent [See Remarks (i)]; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) At least 10 years’ post-degree teaching, quality assurance and/or curriculum development experience in the teaching of Liberal Studies or relevant subjects [See Remarks (ii)]; (d) Good English and Chinese writing skills, fluent in spoken English and Cantonese; and (e) Experience in training or assessing teachers preferred.

Remarks for Post  :
(i) Candidates should mark clearly on their application forms the major and minor subjects studied in their degree course. Candidates possessing additional qualifications (e.g. a second/higher degree in a relevant subject) should include details in their applications;
(ii)Candidates with the relevant experience should list the details and nature of the experience on the application form; and
