Due to ongoing expansion Black Sheep Restaurants are looking for talented and enthusiastic Accountants to help grow, manage and influence the development of the finance function.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT NEEDS TO:

  • Prepare, review and analyze restaurant accounting data. Prepare supporting reconciliations as required and investigate and resolve discrepancies as necessary. 
  • Support and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) process for a portfolio of restaurants. 
  • Manage routine accounting duties, including review of journal vouchers, payment proposals, liaison with auditors and coordination of intercompany reconciliation.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Internal Control Environment. Identify, propose and implement process improvements as necessary.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments as required, special projects as assigned in all areas of finance department

REQUIREMENTS

  • 0-1 years or above experience in accounting is preferred; candidates with more experience may be considered for a more senior position. New graduates also considered.
  • Good oral and written business communication skills in English. Cantonese speaking skills preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for data manipulation
  • Strong attention to detail, time organization skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience in F&B industry and knowledge of restaurant operations is preferred, but not required.
