Assistant Administrative Manager I/II, Registry

The Registry is responsible for the planning and implementation of policies concerning student admissions (both local and non-local), registration, records, assessment and administration of study programmes. As a member of the Registry, the appointee will be required to provide administrative support for a wide range of duties pertaining to academic development; quality assurance and enhancement of undergraduate programmes of the University, including quality audits, review of academic policies and regulations, programme review, revision, approval, and administration; and other University-wide initiatives. The appointee will also provide secretarial support to committees as required and supervise staff in carrying out their duties.

Requirements
Applicants should have (i) a good first degree plus at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in academic quality assurance and/or programme administration; (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iii) strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; (iv) good initiative and analytical ability to organise and carry out duties independently; and (v) a strong sense of responsibility. A high level of competence in committee work is expected, and relevant administrative and IT skills are preferred. Previous experience in the tertiary education sector will be a definite advantage.

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
