Duties :  The appointee will be responsible for implementing publicity and promotion programmes such as road shows and exhibitions, organizing media events, writing press releases and feature articles which aim at building a positive image of the University.  S/he will also be responsible for managing the operation of the Visitor Centre, which is one of the first branding and visual contact points of the University for external visitors.
 
Requirements :  A Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Marketing/Journalism or related disciplines with at least 7 years’ post-qualification experience in event management, public relations and marketing communications.  Candidates should have proven track record in event management, branding and marketing, and social media applications.  Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and ability to work under tight schedules and perform diversified duties are required.  Knowledge of higher education in Hong Kong and solid experience in handling branding/marketing projects for a sizeable corporation would be an advantage.
 
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
 
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
