Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the planning and implementation of exhibitions and other curatorial programmes.
  • Deliver guided tours to students, general public and officials.
  • Maintain the collection database to enhance access and retrieval of materials for studies andexhibitions.
  • Handle day to day Museum administration matters.
  • Maintain and establish network with relevant stakeholders (including universities, local museums, cultural institutions etc.)
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to accomplish the goals of the Museum

 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a recognized university degree in History, Art History, Museum Studies or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cultural sector
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Have strong research skills and public speaking abilities
  • Proven skills on collection management or conservation will be an advantage
