Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Deputy Director and help to implement financial objectives and plans for the Society and monitor the Society’s financial performance to meet with those defined objectives and plans
  • Help to monitor the comprehensive financial control and internal control systems across the Society’s different levels and review and improve the deficiency of such systems
  • Assist to manage/coordinate areas of financial management, internal audit and internal control, human resources, general administration, building services, information technology and fund raising activities of the Society and coordinate with different services to achieve defined objectives of those functions
  • Be responsible to comply with the statutory audits and financial reporting requirements of various funding bodies and relevant statutory boards
  • Assist the Deputy Director to discharge his role on all issues and related policies within his/her expertise
  • Participate in the tasks or projects assigned by the Deputy Director

 

Incumbent Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Finance/Accounting or related disciplines
  • Master degree in business administration or finance will be an added advantage
  • Professional accounting qualification: Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
  • At least 10 years relevant working experience in the accounting/financial field with a minimum of 3 years of senior managerial experience or leadership position
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and political savvy to deal with different levels in the Agency
  • Strong business and financial acumen in problem solving at the Agency level
  • Good leadership, staff management, negotiation, planning, organizing and problem solving skills in managing different functions in Head Office
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese are required
