Reporting to the Associate Dean (UG Programs) of the School of Business and Management, the appointee will assist the Associate Dean to lead a team of 7 staff members in planning and executing programs and student services pertaining to student development, career counselling, and job placement. Our student development programs aim to develop our students into all-rounded graduates with emphasis on leadership, ethics, communication skills, and results-driven mindset. Programs include corporate projects and social responsibilities, business competitions, Business Cohort Community, workshops and guest speaker series, company visits, internship, career advising and placement services. In addition, the appointee is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Career Development Advisory Committee, companies and industries to enhance job opportunities and broaden our students’ horizon and work preparedness.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of post-qualification work experience; ability to think strategically and drive a wide range of programs and activities; self-initiation and team spirit, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in developing and working with students and companies. Working outside normal office hours and overseas travel may be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
