Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to seminars, workshops, education visits, Task Force, Committees and Working Groups for expanding the scope of education services of the Group and ensuring quality service is delivered;
  • provide administrative support to professional development and training programmes to enhance professional competency as well as the quality of education;
  • provide administrative and secretariat support to the Primary School and Special School Sections;
  • provide administrative and secretariat support in organizing Professional Development Day;
  • provide administrative support to various student programmes to promote all-round development of students;
  • assist in managing education service centres under the Education Division;
  • coordinate and provide information for publicity of joint schools activities; and
  • perform other duties assigned by Senior Education Officers/ Head of Education Division.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • a recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least Grade D in English Language (Syl.B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • preferably 4 years’ post-qualification experience;
  • preferably experience in organizing exchange programmes;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good knowledge in word processing and other office application;
  • good organizational and interpersonal skills; and
  • preferably knowledge in education.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
