Established in 1984, The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) is the only surveying professional body incorporated by ordinance in Hong Kong. HKIS’ work includes setting standards for professional services and performance, establishing codes of ethics, determining requirements for admission as professional surveyors, and encouraging members to upgrade skills through continuing professional development. As of 31 May 2019, the number of members have reached 10,500, of which 6,900 are Corporate Members and over 3,500 are Probationers and Students.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, preferably in Business or related discipline
  • At least 10 years working experience with not less than 3 years at supervisory level, preferably in NGO or institutional setting
  • Mature, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a good team player with strong sense of responsibility and commitment
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Proficiency in MS office applications
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • Flexibility to occasionally work after normal office hours

Job responsibilities:

  • To assist the General Manager to perform secretarial duties
  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Divisions and Committees
  • To organise committee meetings and take minutes of such meetings and follow through post meeting actions
  • To assist in organising events and ad hoc projects
  • Supervision of Beijing Representative Office
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager
