Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • providing support to one-stop human resources service including but not limited to manpower planning & budgeting, staff appointment/re-appointment, performance management, staff engagement, learning & development, compensation & benefits and human resources management systems;
  • handling requests/enquiries from internal and external customers;
  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resources records; and
  • compiling management statistics and reports.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics;
  • good communication skills in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua);
  • proficiency in computer applications; and
  • ability to work independently.

Candidates possessing a higher qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline will have an added advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test.

Compensation Package
