The purpose of this role is twofold; Availability Management & Capacity Management. It is to ensure that the level of Availability and the Capacity of all IT services is delivered and that they meet the agreed needs and/or service level targets.

Availability management covers the design, implementation, measurement, management and improvement of IT service and component availability.

Capacity management considers all resources required to deliver the IT service, and plans for short, medium and long-term business requirements.

  • Produce and maintain an availability plan
  • Provide advice on availability management to other areas
  • Ensure availability meets agreed targets
  • Assist with diagnosis of availability related incidents and problems
  • Provide advice on capacity issues to other parts of the business
  • Ensure capacity performance agreements are met
  • Assist with diagnosis of capacity related incidents


  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science related fields
  • ITIL v3.0/4.0 Foundation Certification recommended
  • Minimum of 5 years working in IT Service Management
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure would be a plus
  • Willing and able to work long hours and after hours on occasions
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Cantonese recommended
