The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake urban renewal in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a holistic approach to urban renewal with redevelopment and rehabilitation as its core businesses.

Assistant Manager, Building Rehabilitation (Ref. AM(BR))

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure grant applications of the Building Maintenance Grant Scheme for Elderly Owners (BMGSEO) grant applications are properly processed in accordance with the different criteria and established internal control procedures
  • To ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date database of each grant application received and approved
  • To ensure the correspondences with the grantees are properly handled
  • To ensure the fund to be released to the individual grantees are properly checked and approved
  • To prepare for the regular reports submitted to senior management or Government

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in relevant housing management, building maintenance related discipline
  • Recognized professional qualifications (e.g. MHKIS/ MHKIE/ MHKIA/ MHKIH or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience in the building/ construction or housing management field
